OC would come away with a split winning 14-2 and losing 6-5. The Coyotes would finish the weekend with a promising 3-1 record. On Saturday, the Coyotes would play a double header against the Athletics and this would give the OC coaching staff their first look at their freshmen class. In game one, the OC offense would take off scoring 15 runs on 14 hits and would capitalize on 12 walks.
